DO I NEED TO VACUUM BEFORE THE TECHNICIAN ARRIVES?

A light vacuuming is recommended but not required. If needed, the technician can pre-vacuum the area to be cleaned for an additional charge.

DO YOU GUARANTEE THE REMOVAL OF ALL SPOTS AND STAINS?

We cannot guarantee that we can remove all spots and stains in your carpets. There are substances that can permanently discolor the fibers in your carpets. The age of your carpets, substance that caused the stain, and the type of fiber in your carpets also play an important factor in this. Our technicians will do a thorough inspection of any areas of special concern and determine the best approach to removing the stains to the best of our capabilities. Although most spots that are removed from carpet do not reappear, some substances in carpet backing may wick to the surface after cleaning. If this happens, please contact us as soon as possible at (775) 391-0450

DO YOU MOVE FURNITURE?

Although moving large furniture is not included in standard pricing, we offer premium packages that may include this service. Please request this service in advance and we can tailor a package that meets your needs. Please note that there are several items we are not able to move including pianos, pool tables, beds, dressers, china cabinets, etc.

DOES NEW CARPET COME WITH A PROTECTOR?

Most manufacturers include a dry soil protector on new carpets. This product wears over time with every day traffic. Carpet manufacturers recommend you reapply a carpet protector about once a year after cleaning, and perhaps more often on high traffic areas. Check your warranty for specific details.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR MY CARPETS TO DRY?

Dry time is affected by humidity, temperature, and air flow to the area. It can take anywhere between 8 and 24 hours for the carpet to completely dry, depending on the above mentioned variables. For RotoVac extraction method, dry time is typically between 5 and 8 hours, but can also vary. Using fans and turning your air conditioning or heating system on, depending on the time of year, can help speed up dry time. Be sure to leave any protective blocks under furniture legs in place until the carpet is completely dry to avoid any color transfer. You may walk on your carpet immediately after cleaning, but avoid wearing dirty shoes, as they may re-soil your carpet. Be especially careful when walking from damp carpeted areas onto hard surfaces to avoid slipping.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO CLEAN MY CARPETS?

On average, it will take approximately 10-15 minutes per room. However, this time can vary greatly depending on how soiled the carpet is, and any necessary spot removal treatments.

WHAT IS CONSIDERED AN AREA?

An area is considered one room up to 250 sf. Combined living areas or ā€œLā€ shaped rooms are considered two rooms. Areas larger than 250 sf. will be priced as additional areas. Large walk-in closets, bathrooms, and stair cases are priced separately.

WHY SHOULD I USE A PROTECTOR?

The same reason we are always reminded to apply sunscreen! Your skin has no line of defense against harmful rays just as your carpets are up against heavily soiling with no line of protection. As the finishing touch to your thoroughly cleaned carpet and/or upholstery, we offer two specially formulated products that can be applied. These products help carpet and upholstery resist soiling from dry dirt, water- and oil-based spills by impregnating each fiber with a coating. This barrier gives you more time to clean up spots and spills before they soak into the fibers, helping you keep your carpet and upholstery looking its best between professional cleanings. In addition, it also increases vacuuming productivity helping to remove soils that damage carpet fibers over time.
